mma and Cole brought their 2 beautiful boxers out to the mountains for their engagement portrait. We were given a truly gorgeous day with fresh snow and blue skies. Add to that a totally completely in love couple and I was in heaven. I can't wait for their winter wedding next year.
I loved the pups in their brightly coloured leashes and collars. Red looks fantastic against the snow.
I brought my new sled along for photos and Cole put it to work.
How adorable are these two together? I didn't have to say a thing, that's all them.

t was ridiculously beautiful out when Christine and John came to Banff for their engagement shoot. Fall was showing off and I felt really excited to have a sweet couple to photograph to capture a bit of the beauty. Christine and John are so much fun and kept us laughing. I can not wait for their wedding day.
I loved Christine's boots! A nice touch to their stylish outfits.
Christine is beautiful.

ne of the many gifts of being a wedding photographer is getting to hear the stories of how people met and fell in love and to recognize how unique each story is and marvel in some cases that the fleeting moment didn't pass by.
Anthony spent a day in the mountains rafting with friends. Jennifer was invited to spend a fun night out in the mountains, she almost didn't go. When Jennifer saw Anthony dancing on the dancefloor she knew he was fun and she was interested in learning more about him. Their story started that night, with Jennifer seeing Anthony on the dancefloor having fun on a night she almost didn't go out at all. Thankfully Jennifer did go out that night because now I'll get to photograph their intimate winter wedding in just over a week.
Their connection is obvious and a joy to be around.
rin and Kyle love to travel together and explored a canyon on a recent trip to Turkey together so they asked if we could do their engagement portraits in my favourite canyon. I was thrilled they were up for something different and we hiked in together over the freezing water to take their engagement portraits. I got us lost on the way out of the canyon and thankfully Kyle navigated us out so that we could enjoy lunch on the beautiful patio at The Juniper together. It was a really fun morning and I can't wait for their wedding!
