St. George's in the Pines is my favourite church in Banff.

Historic St. George's church began in 1889 and is the oldest public building that has been in continuous use.

The handcrafted alter and stunning stain glass windows really make this treasure a unique church.

I adore Reverend George Belcher and wedding assistant Shirley. George is a warm kind welcoming man. His ceremonies have always been unique to the couple. You can also request George to perform your ceremony outside of the church as well.

If you get married at the church I really love the way Shirley directs the couple to a side room so guests can gather outside to welcome the couple as they exit the church with bells ringing. It's the best wedding exit I have experienced.
