Cynthia & Ferdinand's intimate wedding at The Alpine Club of Canada Canmore Clubhouse was heartfelt and filled with magical moments. We awoke to roaring winds but when we arrived at The Boswell Cabin all was calm. As Cynthia & Ferdinand walked down the aisle together the song they played mentioned rain just as a soft rain began to fall as if on cue. Their friends in attendance made sure that Cynthia & Ferdinand's families could watch the ceremony online and you could feel their excitement and presence and hear their laughter. After the ceremony the newlyweds walked back to their cabin where they set out individual cakes from Le Fournil and popped champagne and gave their families the online tour of their surroundings. There they listened to beautiful toasts from a dear friend and their parents. Just as we were setting off to take couple photos the most magical sky and light appeared. It was truly magical! It was hard to contain my excitement at the gift we were given of a stunning evening.
While Styling Steph put the finishing touches on Cynthia's Hair & Make-up, Ferdinand and his dear friend tested out the technology so they would be ready to live stream the ceremony to loved ones who could not travel to be with them in person.
Cynthia's best friend from New York had gorgeous flowers from Willow Flower Co. delivered on the morning of the wedding. A lovely reminder that she was thinking of her on her wedding day.

Cynthia & Ferdinand shared a First Look so that they could walk down their aisle together.
Cynthia & Ferdinand's families called in to watch the ceremony. Ferdinand's parents stayed up until 1am their time to join and I love that they dressed up to attend the wedding.
Friends manned the technology to ensure that their families could witness the ceremony.
We reached in to hand Ferdinand an umbrella to cover himself and he immediately held it over their friend officiating their wedding ceremony for them. It was a sweet gesture.
They invited their 6 guests to choose what cake they would like most the week of the wedding from our local French Bakery Le Fournil.
Ferdinand showing off the view from The Boswell Cabin to their families. They had 80 engraved wine glasses custom made for the original wedding they had planned. I love that they included them on their day and they will have them ready for their party when they are able to celebrate with all of their loved ones in person.
As if on cue the skies cleared and the sun broke through revealing a magical peaceful evening.
Ferdinand very sweetly adjusted Cynthia's bustle, laid out her train and tied her sneakers when we were hiking for photos.
I loved Cynthia's joyful bouquet by Dahlia Floral Design.
