Melissa and Oliver created a truly memorable and adventurous wedding week for those who travelled to celebrate with them in Banff. They wanted everyone to get to experience their love of the mountains so they hiked with everyone up Lady MacDonald in Canmore, shared epic views with family on the East End of Rundle and imagined the view obscured by fog at Yamnuska. On their wedding day we all woke up to icy rain and a fog so low it hid all mountain views. Not deterred Oliver and Melissa still made the weather call to hold their ceremony outside in Tunnel Mountain Meadow. As if on cue just as the ceremony time approached the fog lifted and the mountains revealed themselves in the most dramatic fashion. It could not of been more amazing! Melissa & Oliver braved some icy wind and ice pellets during photos with laughter before warming up with their loved ones at Buffalo Mountain Lodge.

Melissa surprised Oliver with a bagpiper as a reminder of the place that they met and it sounded incredible in the meadow surrounded by mountain views.

It was very fitting that Melissa was married in front of a stunning view of Mount Rundle because that is the very first mountain she hiked with her father as a child.
