They met in a University Dance class and shortly after became dance partners competing in Ballroom dance competitions around the world together. They met & fell in love through Dance and this week-end surrounded by their closest loved ones they became Mr & Mrs in an outdoor winter wedding ceremony at sunset with soft snowflakes falling around them as they shared their vows. It honestly sounds like and felt like a movie! Renee & Kristopher had been hoping for snow and even though we hadn't had snow in the weeks leading up to their day a magical snowfall began just as they shared their first look.

When Renee & Kristopher announced to their parents that they wanted to have a winter wedding in the mountains on December 1st Renee's parents shared that her grandparents had also gotten married in the mountains on December 1st. I loved that connection. The day that Renee's Grandparents were to be married there was a huge blizzard preventing her from wearing the wedding dress that she had intended for their day. Renee surprised her Dad by wearing her Grandmother's wedding dress on the morning of her own wedding. The original $12.95 price tag was still attached. I was amazed at how perfectly it fit Renee, another connection to her Grandmother. It was a beautiful way to start the day.

Mountain Beauties created a stunning vintage inspired wedding up-do for Renee that fit in perfectly with her wedding day look and also held up to some incredibly powerful wind gusts during portraits.

We started their portraits with a First Look and Renee wound the vintage pocket watch she had gifted Kristopher for their wedding day.

A lot of Renee & Kristopher's loved ones had never seen them perform during their Ballroom dancing competitions so their first dance was an incredible opportunity to witness what brought these two together. It was spectacular to say the least.
