Castle Mountain Chalets hold a dear place in Joel & Tanya hearts. Tanya first surprised Joel with a stay there for his birthday. Joel planned to propose on their hike to Stanley Glacier but smartly worried the ring could get lost in the snow so he proposed in a cabin at Castle Mountain Chalets after their hike. When it came to their wedding day Joel and Tanya knew they wanted to share the place that has meant so much to them with their loved ones.
The night before their wedding an April blizzard whipped through the mountains. But on their wedding day as we arrived the clouds lifted to reveal the mountains and the sun shone for their vows.
They said I do in a mountain meadow in front of Castle Mountain in a beautiful ceremony with an arch made by Joel and his father and adorned with flowers. I was thrilled they brought their rescue pup Cooper who was the BEST model who smiled for photos!! Their first dance took place outside on the deck of the lodge with the sun shining on them. After their first dance their loved ones were treated to meals in their individual cabins catered by Trotter's catering. I was overjoyed to see that they were given a gorgeous day filled with so much love.
