Just 45 minutes south of Calgary you'll head down a gravel road and be greeted by the Coutts Centre for Western Canadian Heritage. This magical wedding venue is one that is on my wishlist to be asked to photograph a wedding at.

The Coutts Centre is like stepping into a storybook. The Elm tree lined wedding aisle is gorgeous. There is a handsome barn for receptions. Cafe lights hang throughout the gardens for that evening glow. Around every corner is a thoughtful garden many the subject of inspiration for painters. I can only imagine how inspiring it is to photograph a wedding there with so many gorgeous spots for photos. There is so much care & love put into the gardens.

On the day that we visited there was work being done on this stunning garden shed & hand laid stone pathway.

This sweet beautiful kitty greeted me in the garden and I felt lucky for her hello because she quickly disappeared amongst the grasses.
