The forecast called for rain on the day we were set to shoot Kala & Tyler's engagement session. I checked in with them to see if they would like to reschedule in hopes of better weather but Kala and Tyler let me know they were up for the adventure rain or shine. It was POURING rain just as we met up and started our drive up the Icefields Parkway. By pure luck once we reached Peyto Lake the rain had stopped and we were gifted a stunning window for photos with the iconic lake before access is shut down for construction.

I was totally inspired by and thrilled with the colours that Kala and Tyler chose to wear which looked incredible against our mountain backdrops. I was grateful that Kala and Tyler were up for anything and hiked around on the steep rocks along with the chipmunks. Just as we reached the car it started to rain again. But as soon as Kala and Tyler stepped out at Bow Lake the sun started to peek out and produced a beautiful rainbow. I was in awe of the magical night we were given. Thank you Kala and Tyler for being adventurous, for being up for anything, for driving all that way and being so stylish!I can't wait for your winter wedding!
