The Bison Restaurant in Banff revealed it's gorgeous makeover this week. After years of hosting intimate weddings the renovation took into consideration improvements that make the space more enjoyable for weddings. They took down the wall by the bar making the space feel open, letting in more light and enabling guests to be able to see the bride and groom throughout the space. There are now sound proofing tiles that ensure toasts will be heard more clearly. The new bar allows for an open area for cocktails and a beautiful space to hang out with views of the mountains. The Bison can accommodate up to 82 wedding guests for a seated dinner reception and has room for more guests if you opt for a cocktail style reception. The new menu brings in more international influences while still holding true to their dedication to Canadian cuisine and product. The Bison also makes a great option for a rehearsal dinner or after wedding brunch. The Bison feels cozy and romantic at night with an amber glow from thoughtful lighting and candlelight.
Here's a little Before & After so you can see what a difference the renovation had made. The befores are on the left and the afters on the right.
