Mother Nature really had us on our toes for Megan & Nick's terrace ceremony at the Banff Springs. We drove through a white out blizzard thankful for the fresh snow but disappointed to not see any mountains. But as Megan sat getting her hair & make-up done we could all watch the dramatic reveal as blue skies and mountains came into view with freshly dusted mountain peaks. We could watch the team at the Banff Springs shovelling the terrace below in preparation for their outdoor wedding ceremony and it was exciting. Friends & Family travelled from all over the US, as far away as Florida and a guest even came from France so I was happy that the mountains gave them all a show. It was a gorgeous day with perhaps the FASTEST ceremony I have ever witnessed in consideration of the weather followed by an intimate reception in the Ivor Petrak room with the BEST dance party.

While Megan's Dad was running an errand he came back to his room to discover his daughter transformed into a bride in her wedding gown and I loved his reaction.

Nick walked in together with his brother and Best man which I thought was a nice touch.

Megan & Nick had custom made luggage tags with every guest's name personalized on each tag. Such a cool favour for a destination wedding.

Emma from Lynn Fletcher Weddings set a little time aside in Megan & Nick's wedding day schedule so that they could sneak into their reception and see it all set up before the guests arrived. It was so nice for Megan and Nick to be able to see all their design choices in real life and needless to say they were thrilled with the result. The room felt so romantic and cozy.
