This laughter filled joyful elopement at Emerald Lake left me feeling giddy. I am totally in love with their style which looked incredible against the snow. These two visited Emerald Lake 14 years ago and it must of left a big impression on their hearts because when they thought about the place they wanted to say I do they returned to Emerald Lake. Sandra and Bobby have shared 18 years of cheering each other on, celebrating each other's accomplishments and comforting each other through loss. They shared so many good stories with us on their wedding day. Sandra & Bobby decided to make their years of love and commitment official by eloping amongst a winter wonderland and they were given a perfect day. We joked about the woefully inadequate terms for a couple who has spent years together. The terms boyfriend/girlfriend/life partner/manfriend just don't do justice to 18 years of love and laughter. Bobby came closest with the phrase "Long Termers". There was a point in the ceremony where their officiant Hans said now you will go out into world and say "This is my Wife!" and "This is my Husband!". What a thrilling moment. What an honour to get to witness a couple who makes each other laugh easily and fills their shared life with adventure become Mr & Mrs on a stunning winter day in the mountains.
